  • You ****in tools, stfu, Marquez-Lopez is LEGIT

I'm sick and tired of these so called "boxing fans" not giving Lopez any credit for this fight with Marquez. Especially when Marquez has shown NO SIGN of decline whatsoever. Yeah he was just in a few wars, what the **** does that mean? You rather him of gave us 3 boring fights? Why not just enjoy the ****in fights and enjoy this. Rather then trying to always try and discover new ways to discredit fighters. It was the same bull**** with Cotto. He loses to the Pound 4 pound best fighter in the world and he's shot? Get the **** out of here, especially when half the people saying that are Pac fans, so your discrediting one of your favorite fighters now?

This fight is 50/50. I mean I won't lie if it was a younger Marquez it'd probably be 60-40 70-30 in his favor. But to act like he's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO past it and punch drunk that this is just a gimme fight is just ******ed. He looked good in that fourth fight and I was ****in disgusted with boxingscene's punk ass for not making it a feature fight. I was like what kind of ****in boxing site is this? If Marquez beats Lopez he gets all the credit in the world and I'm gonna laugh my ass off when all these guys that are saying he's shot are going make a complete 360 degree turn in there opinion.

I actually favor Marquez in this fight because he can easily pick apart the flaws in Lopez. It's going to be a ****in war and I can't wait. It's going to be one of the best fights in the year and instead of bitching about Manny-Pac & Haye-Klitchsko's not getting made, why not embrace the one HUGE fight that IS GETTING MADE! I got Marquez somewhere between 8th-10th round stoppage. GIVE THIS WARRIOR THE CREDIT HE ****IN DESERVES WHEN HE HASN'T DONE **** TOO THINK OTHERWISE! No sign of decline at all.

Lopez just fought recently, it is a breath of fresh air that a fighter is active every 2-3 months. If he beats Marquez than the mandate he fight the winner of Caballero-Gamboa. The fight with Chris JOhn won't help him much, John is only undefeated to the bias indonesian eyes. Juan M Marquez beat him easily and needed 2 point deductions and hometown cooking to get robbed.

I don't think it is a 50/50 fight at all, but it is a hell of a good matchup. Marquez deserves the chance to win one more big fight in the twilight of his career. I'm pretty sure the fans won't feel cheated after watching this one.

I know I think Lopez can become a legend real early in his career if he can get through all this. I do want to see him beat the piss out of Chris John's punk ass though, but I just want him to get the credit he deserves with this fight. It's better then how punk ass Arum is protecting Gamboa from Callabero. Yet people are going to discredit him because Marquez "is past it", "shot" "been in too many wars" when the damn guy hasn't shown any sign of decline whatsoever. It's going to be a ****in war and I can't wait!

Then bring on Callabero & Gamboa baby! I love this division.

I like the fight a lot. And if Marquez connects early, it's going to be a really fun one however long it lasts.

This one doesn't go 12, and there will be plenty of heavy thunder by both guys.

The fight is legit but just like that statement is true it is also true that Marquez has been in some real wars. Its ok for both to be true. You can't say that wars don't affect you in some form or another. To say they dont have an affect on u is to simply lose credibility. Marquez isn't prime but he is not completely shot either, it's going to be a solid scrap

Its not really an even fight, Lopez should be favored and I would consider it a big upset if the smaller, older, shop worn Rafa beats JuanMa.

This right here. I'm not saying that wars don't take effect but in the fourth fight he still looked really good picking Izzy apart and opening up those cuts. I'm judging by the last fight, not going against the whole wars take a toll because they absolutely do.

I still think Marquez is a legit threat and top 5 fighter and if Lopez wins he should get ALL credit for this fight. I know he's not prime but I still think he has some juice left in the tank to get the job done. Definitely a solid scrap that I can't wait for. Fight of the year in the making I think.
