to Pakistan. Havent been in 5 years and am looking forward to it. Hills, fresh air, clear skies for star gazing. I live in a northern small town away from big cities and pollution.

Real talk: The FATA region is dangerous as hell, the North is dangerous - but the rest is safe. Punjab is huge and as save as anything, Sind has some crime (organized) but not terrorism, and Balochistan is more of less empty desert.

The chance of anything happening is very remote. Whilst much of Pakistan is poor, the middle class is like 17% (incomes of $10k or more), so 30 million odd people live well. They have their country clubs, their prep schools, the material comforts. They live safe lives - enclosed from 'reality' but enough of them to not encounter 'it'.
