he ducked a prime welterweight division. floyds ducking and cherry picking is well documented

Mayweather is a level over all 3 of those guys, respectfully.
Thank You! Been saying that for years. Margarito v. Floyd would've been similar to Gatti vs. Floyd.

He was smart to retire in 2007 when the welterweight division was loaded. I think he'd have an L or two on his record if he would've stuck around back then.

Castillo is more talented, and more accomplished
Castillo used educated pressure, actually had a good jab and counter jab, knew how to cut off the ring, margo followed you around, didnt step over or use his front foot to control the center line....Also castillo had more punch variety, better defense, quicker of hand and foot could counter going forward or back and was just flat out better
most people really dont know much about the nuances and styles of boxing
If castillo fought like Margo, the fights with floyd would have been blowout losses on his part.

You've never heard Floyd be candid about his boxing career. When he speaks about his career its all about how great he is. And saying his body was breaking down after the Gatti fight and that he had to rely on IQ to win fights is his way of fluffing his career and an excuse on why he was so defensive against big and more powerful guys. If you believe that then more power to you. But IMO once he moved up to welterweight and didnt have the advantages anymore in power and size he knew the only way to last was to be defensive and pot shot his way to victory. Otherwise he wouldnt have lasted as long as he did.
Comparing floyd to Morales or Barrera dont makes sense because their careers went way different than floyds and they were in wars every time out. Even though Floyd was a good offensive fighter at the lower weight he was still very defensive so he rarely took punishment.
And you should know that injuries are commonly sustained in training camp. Fighters get injured in sparring, doing the word work, etc. Since you weren't with Floyd during his training camps, which are notoriously intense, you don't know how much punishment he REALLY took.
