If by "getting the job done," you mean winning 4 or 5 rounds, then yeah.

Devon didn't have an off night. Kotelnik deserves credit for what happened. I think he earned a 115-113 decision that he didn't get. Devon put on a good show, he just didn't shine because his opponent wouldn't let him.

Had The Eastern European Warrior broke the mold and tried to force an all out exciting brawl and tried to actually dominate in an exciting way, he would have been able to KO Alexander. I'm not disputing the fact that Kotelnik got ROBBED, he did. The point is you always want to point out that Eastern European Warrior's Dominate, the problem is they never go after it and dominate in an aggressive astonishing way by trying to outright kill the man or get him out of there in a crowd pleasing way. Kotelnik won the fight but never tried to turn it into a street fight and bum rush him despite being in control, same with every other Eastern European Warrior, which is why they get robbed and have no fan base. I'm from St.Louis love Alexander and all but he lost, after the fight outside people knew he lost but outright were saying "If the foreign dude woulda jumped on his ass he would knocked him out" and that's the point in the US you gotta impress and Kotelnik's unwillingness to bully fight and be the man cost him, he's in a Don King fight Vs a hometown guy and he was winning why not actually try to go in and fight like an animal and just take the W? Eastern European Warrior's rarely do this and that is why it's easy to rob them, with no name power or money to bring to the table or style that is exciting to watch why would anyone in the business of making money care either way? Bottom line is this would not happen if the man had broke the mold and went after it.
