I'm sure Vitali fought all his mandatory and No. 1 challengers for the WBC belt whilst Wlad fought his respectively. Seeing as Wlad held the majority of belts he was bound to come across a more diverse talent pool than Vitali encountered.

they are two different fighters. Not the same person.

The only fight that could have given Vitali career the extra oomph was a rematch with Lewis or better yet a fight with Wlad (which would never happen btw). This is the reason why you have to look at it in a unique manner.

Whatever they can do, they will do to discredit Vitali. As per usual, as with Vladimir, he will be blamed for his opposition, rather than for his achievements as a title holder.

Wlad has beaten a lot of good fighters, a lot of guys in the top 10.

I've always thought that Vitali's power has been a tad overrated.He most impressed me back when he demolished Arreola,considering the hype surrounding Arreola at the time,it was a good performance from Vitali.

After the contest with Arreola the ko's became very rare.He only ko'ed 4 more opponents and 2 of them were controversial stoppages(well,one a fake in Solis and a cut for Charr).

I never claimed Vitali has a great resume. But there's no reason to piss all over him. He did well, especially considering his comeback and the fact that he is a 3 time world champion.

I'm certainly not pi.ssing on him lad.Just when doing some research for work i decided to look a little deeper.

He is a 3 time world champion and a tough one aswell who would be a decent fight stylistically for any heavy in any era.

Absolutely horrible for a so-called great heavyweight champion. Big waste in my opinion. I would have liked to see him face a lot of the guys Wladimir fought.
