How do they factor in Theater Buys to PPV buys?

Ive always wondered how they do that. Do they even count theater buys into PPV buys?

I would guess something like Total Theater Revenue/Price of PPV -- for PPV buys equivalent

Dan Rafael at ESPN said no, they do not count towards PPV buys. That money goes into some other pot, just like closed circuit tickets.
