Not likely, you have to remember it's not fighting that makes fighters old, it's training. g string had all of those years in the gym as an amateur that Hopkins didn't. That's why I have such a hard on for g string passing on the Ward fight. It would have been at a time when both were close to their peak. Instead, team g string insisted on a catch weight Ward absolutely couldn't make and killed the fight.

GGG will be the exception. He'll go to hall of fame based on being an outstanding amateur and the best MW of his era. Ward has no bearing on his career.

He was banned all along I think. His 3 week ban was set and it lifted. I guess his original ban period was not reset hehe
