You're right Golovkin is the B-Side he should just drop 5-6 pounds and fight, Hopkins agreed to a CW to De La Hoya, why can't Golovkin?

he probably will eventually have to take the fight at a catchweight. 155 lbs may be tough for a guy in his mid 30's.

also keep in mind that oscar was a welterweight for much of his prime, and in his youth he was a 135 lber. canelo's bigger than golovkin on the night of the fight.

and bernard hopkins was about as good a middleweight fighter as you're ever going to get. let's also not forget that!

The only dude that I ever saw that said it and meant it was Paul Williams. Everybody else is if a significant opportunity shows it self. I Floyd came out and told triple G to meet him at 154 he would but he won't for Canelo.

Not sure that even if he goes to 154 Canelo would fight him. Now that Ward is out of 168 for good he can make such a claim that he would fight at that weight.

Honestly if he is fighting someone from 154 they need to go up to him at least 157ish other than Canelo no one has the juice for Golovkin to even consider going down to 154 fully. As long as he is fighting quality bringing a guy up one weight class is not unreasonable.

Sure that brings up a whole other barrage of issues that certain people will find fault. If people want to they will always find fault and with Golovkin there is a group that wants to find fault for whatever reason. That is how you discern hating from reasonable criticism, if someone is literally finding every fault possible they be hatin~

One of the talents from 154 should be moving up soon.
