Take erik morales-when manny lost to him erik was 48-2 and had only lost to barrera. when manny beat him-he had lost the previous fight to zahir raheem and then went on to be 2-7. 2 losses to manny and years later 2 losses to danny garcia.
What a joke comment. Floyd always beat peoples leftovers, from Hernandez, DLH, SSM.

Didn't Morales take Floyds next opponent to the edge, way past his prime. Maidana couldn't stop Morales, yet Pac did when Morales was near prime.

Floyd went AWOL when people expected Floyd to show us how good he was. Pac beat Barrera and then showed us how good he was and lived up to expectations.

The general consensus is Pac has the better resume and Floyds consolation prise, is if Floyd fought who Pac fought he probably would have beat them. Woulda, coulda but didn't is the story of Floyds career.

Honestly both resume are pretty similar, people saying Pac blow floyd away are typical haters talking **** as usual.

      Similar Fights:
Marquez - Floyd toyed with Pac's nemesis btw
Mosley - Pac fought him after floyd, floyd took the fight after a big win by Mosley, when this whole fu ck1ing site claimed that he would be too scared. Roach on the other hand told Shane he was too much of a risk
Miguel Cotto - Solid wins for both of them, Pac fought the primer version but Floyd fought him at his best weight
Hatton - Pac decapitated Hatton, but Floyd is the one who took Hatton's soul in the first place, solid wins for both
DLH - Good wins for both, past prime for Floyd and zombie version for Pac

Fights that distinguish Pac from Floyd
Morales - An incredible trilogy against a legend
Barrera - Incredible win against a legend

Fights that distinguish Floyd from Pac
Alvarez - Young undefeated champ that once again everybody said floyd would duck
Corrales - Most people on this site were not even watching boxing back then, they dont realize how this win was amazing
Castillo - One controversial win against this legend, immediate rematch againt him

I don't want to hear anything about Ortiz, Margarito, Rios, Clottey, Gatti, Guerrero, Diaz... These guys had nothing to do in the ring with Pac or Floyd in the first place. These wins dont mean anything to me.

So both resume are really similar to me. Difference between both fighters is that Floyd went through this resume undefeated when Pac got put to sleep and lost some. These guys are two legends imo, the two best fighters of the last 15 years, but haters will hate...

Says the guy who said "PBF if he can beat Hatton needs guys like Cotto and Mosely. Mosely because PBF needs to beat the man who beat the man. Moselys beaten DLH twice.
ONly then can we talk about PBF being ATG along the SRL and Ali and SRRs of this world.
        "

You have no credibility at all

          Quite obviously Pacquaio.

Barrera > any win of Mayweathers career...

Nobody mention Canelo, his resume sucks and he's won 2/3 of his belts out of vacancy... to mention him as a young, strong undefeated champion is the same bull**** sentence Floyd gives to everyone one of his opponents. Here's a pro-tip, being young often = being green, meaning no experience.

Pacquaio, not only starting at a lower weight class, was the underdog in 3 of his first title wins, practically unheard of in boxing. Not only that, he's fought vastly more opponents than Mayweather, and although has some losses, he's disposed of all of the same opponents Mayweather has fought in spectacular fashion, bar Marquez.

Even in recent opponents Pacquaio facing Bradley and winning is vastly better than Mayweather facing Canelo.

Mayweather's wins over Genaro and Corrales are just as good as any of Pacquaio's at the lower weights IMHO.

really genaro hernandez is as good as barrera or marquez? why exactly? what did genaro hernandez do in his career? have you looked at his resume? his only notable win was a split decision over 40 year azumah nelson. then he had some crappy title defenses and lost to floyd.

General consensus is Pac has the better resume. And people wonder if Floyd fought as often and as regularly as Pac and as great as opponents Paac fought, would Floyd still be unbeaten?

Really implying and suggesting Floyd hasnst fought anyone real good and that he didn't really fight much when he became p4p no1 when it gets tougher. WHen Pac became no1 p4p or even famous when he beat Barrera, Pac did fight regularly when everyone called him out and Paac tried to accomdate everyone with fighting twice a year at least and not taking layoffs.

Both of their resumes are very similar. Both have decent 147 resumes. I think the best win out of both of them at 147 is Mayweather's win over Mosley. Floyd best wins are at 154 and 135 pounds. Manny's best wins are in the lower weights.

Trying to discredit the massive beating Pac gave to Margarito eh..
Floyd retired when Margarito came knocking-remember that.
