Its odd you find BHop losing to Dawson as an upset, even though he was a huge under-dog going into the fight.

As Roger Mayweather would say: "You don't know **** about boxing".

I hope Cotto is in good condition.
bringing up this old fight to talk about what Pac would do is like saying Floyd would stop Pac with a body shot like his 2ko losses. Neither are the same guy.

Also and most imporatntly, that fight is so overrated. That fight was not close at all. People see Floyd as invincable now and it was even more the case back then after he just killed Chico so if anything is a lil rough, it makes it seem like the opponent is doing great or winning rounds but if you rewatch that fight now with an unbiased eye, it wasnt close at all. It was a masterpiece where Chavez barely won any rounds.

Back then its just like it was now with Floyd. If he got hit clean or layed on the ropes but blocked shots then everyone goes crazy like he's getting lit up, even if only one punch really lands. Go rewatch it now and give an honest score. Honest

why do you think Cotto stops him if its a war? Id still easily favor Floyd. If they stand shoulder to shoulder all fight, I think Floyd would carve him up. Might take more of a physical beating than normal but I still think he clearly wins

Nothing like that unless you think Mayweather has shown the same improvement as Pacquiao has done from 17- till now.

And what fighter can match Pacquiao for work rate and stamina that Mayweather has fought recently.

Mayweather will wait for Cotto till tire before he starts opening up. Cotto has to be top condition to keep Mayweather weary.

I don't know looks like Floyd doesn't know what to expect and is worried. Sounds like he is banking on the late rounds and a weak Cotto stamina. Floyd has never been a war Hatton , DeLaHoya , and Castillo were close to a war. Cotto is a solid boxer who has fought his way through a lot maybe shot, but about wars in the ring he knows Floyd jr doesn't.

Mayweather banking on Cotto's poor stamina is a sure bet. If this fight goes beyond the 7th round, Cotto might be in for the worst beating in his life. Mayweather is just too fast and his stamina might allow him to fight for 20 rounds. Cotto is usually out of breath by the 6th round.

cotto is going to dance around the ring for 12 rounds and floyd is going to watch him, pick a few shots to throw, land them at a pretty high rate, and win lopsided

cotto will win two rounds on two cards and one on the other

if the judges mess this one up al haymon will float them down the charles river, right by his alma mater

This new Cotto is not the one Omar Henry is imitating in sparring.
