Heat - starring Pacino and Deniro.

Not much happens in the movie and bang, you realize you've wasted 3 hours of your day on it.
    Nicca, I will kill you.

You are out of your damn mind with the bold. Those 3 are instant classics without a doubt.

Titanic and Lord of the rings were pretty good. Either didn't see or agree with you on the others.

No offence to Righteous, but that cracked me up.

As for the thread question, here's one:

          The Matrix.

          Yeah. I went there.

What you see in a movie is a reflection of the person you are at the time. That's why we can appreciate movies that we didn't like when we were different people.

That's the true beauty of acting. When the performer breaths life into the role by showing the audience a reflection of their soul in relation to the plot.

Whatever is real can never be unreal.

I'm curious, who usually listens to your opinions?

            Pot.
            Kettle.
            Black.

            I didnt like Django Unchained.
Everyone else seemed to love it.

I loved the Lord of the Rings films.

They make yellow, white and brown pots too. They're not all black.

Because of Brandon Lee. That movie proved that the guy had huge potential to become a superstar. He was the actor that the Wachowski's wanted to play Neo.

IMO the most overrated films since 1990 are:
The Departed (I prefer Infernal Affairs way more)
                The Artist (boring)
The King's Speech (another Oscar bait movie about a handicap)
American Hustle (Scorsese ripoff, soundtrack too on the nose, JLaw miscast, IMO bad movie too)
The Hurt Locker (good movie not great, IMO Mackie gave a better perf than Renner)
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (Fellowship of the Ring is by far the best of the trilogy, this installment was too goddamn long)

Of all those movies, the only one I've seen in its entirety was Braveheart. Not sure I'd agree.

I think "Rudy" should be on that list.

To me, the most overrated movie of all time is Scarface, which of course is irrelevant to this thread because you limited this to 1990.
