I guess. For some reason I thought UFC 125 was further away than January 1st so was hoping they'd just be able to push it back by a few events. I do hope it happens at some point though as it's a good match-up.

Kind of off-topic but according to wiki they've got Nate Diaz fighting in a prelim for that event. He wins a FOTN and that's his reward

Carwin pulling out this early is indicative of something serious, I would tend to think. Apparently he may be surgery bound and out of action for a good while. And he's not getting any younger (or fitter).
