well GTA was not introduced in this generation... but i agree, it is an excellent franchise! and i can't wait for the GTA V!

but for the franchise that were introduced this gen, i would say it's uncharted...

it is not really original in terms of gameplay and story, but the way they present it is what makes it kick ass... and you just have to marvel at the technical proficiency of naughty dog...

then after uncharted i really dig bioshock... it, along with borderlands are the most unique in the realm of FPS games...
