That's as typical as women get. YOUR happiness is paramount. If playing soccer with your friends helps relieve the stress of working long hours (to accomplish your goal of buying a house), then don't give it a second thought. Just do it. Don't waste your time trying to keep HER happy. Their happiness changes from day to day. So if you give in to her demands (yes, she's a terrorist of your time, in this scenario) now, what do you expect to happen in the future? That'll just lead you down the road where everytime she has a frown on her face, she'll expect YOU to do something for her. Meanwhile, she'll continue to marginalize ANYTHING that you do to keep yourself happy.

Anyway, it's not our responsibility to keep them happy. Don't bite your tongue about these issues, either. Every woman will test you in this way, since it's in their nature. Your job is to explain to her why your happiness comes first, and if she doesn't comprehend, then she knows where the door is. There's never a reason not to be honest. There's plenty of women out there. If this one is giving you grief on a daily basis, while you're trying to do something as substantial as saving for a house, then move on to the next one.

When you inevitably get the house, you can turn it into a place that can accommodate more than one woman. Women who won't nag or complain because they just feel fortunate to (temporarily) be in your house at all.

That's a slippery slope you should avoid at all costs. Because when you inevitably get tired of doing **** for HER, she's gonna look at you like you're nothing, and leave. It's better to expedite that process and remove her from your life now, and move on to someone who'll appreciate you.
