Martinez would beat Hopkin's ass. I like Hopkins, but he would just beat him unmerciful. Martinez doesnt have to worry about size in that match cause Hopkins is just a little bit soft at light heavyweight-- just up there so he doesnt have to deal with the speed of middleweights anymore.

He has a problem fighting guys at 168 but he has no problem calling out Welterweights when he is a Middleweight. What an A$$.

Has Hopkins expressed a willingness to meet Martinez at 165? right in the middle of Super Middle and Middleweight?

        nope he states 170.
What about Bute calling him out at 165? I'm sure they could negotiate it to 164 or 3.
If he can drop down to JMW then fine... 154 doesn't seem to be a problem for him since he can eat whatever he wants and cheesecake.

165 isnt the middle. ur math is alittle off

160 and 175. whats in between that? 167.5 or a nice round number of 168....

wait?!?! isnt 168 a division?!?!? i could be wrong. but there is alot of fighters at 168. fighters like bute, ward, kessler, froch

but of course.... take a catchweight bout against a fighter 2 divsions lower... cause it wouldnt be fair if sergio moved up 1 division

[QUOTE=southpaw!!;11245681]2 divisions separate pac/mayweather vs martinez, 2 divisions separate b hop vs martinez.QUOTE] Don't be an idiot. Martinez is UNWILLING to fight at 168 OR 175, yet he IS willing to fight Pac and Mayweather...that is a double-standard!!

and so you know. b hop is a light heavy weight. not super middle. 2 divisions separate welterweight and middle, 2 divisions separate middle and light heavy. have a good day

Martinez can pick on smaller guys but refuses to pick on bigger guys. Typical school bully.

Hopkins would completely dominate and school Martinez. It wouldn't even be close.
