They guy is a legit lineal champ and will be remembered as the best welter of his era... Top 20 ranking is not absurd. If u go by skills and talent he is top 5 but his resume is relatively weak compared to other great welters

Yes I think my heart may have over-ruled my head in terms of ability for Hearns... Momentarily forgot he beat Benitez and Duran at 154... But true, his 147 resume, does leave that little bit to be desired..

Just out of interest... who do you think he could have fought, to be placed higher?

Beating Leonard would've monumentally increased Hearns position. He is a very overrated 147 lber

I'd have Duran over Whitaker. Duran has Palomino and Leonard, a top 3 welterweight. Whitaker has Buddy McGirt, Chavez and a few other guys. Short stay there, but impressive. A more impressive win than anyone else on this list in fact.

With so little footage of Robinson I don't think it's fair to include him in h2h discussions.

Leonard would come out on top of all the welters h2h out of all those I've seen enough to judge.
