Connor McGregor announces retirement

Conor McGregor may have retired because of Joao Carvalho. He was there ringside when the guy died.

It probably struck a chord in him. He doesn't want to suffer serious injury, or even death in his life. He's made a few millions, and can retire rich and with his health still intact. That's a great decision, even if disappointing to MMA fans.

I was just starting to think he was the real deal. No shame in losing but to just quit in the middle of camp in your prime reveals how commited you are too the sport. Looks like UFC is back where they was 2 years ago.
