The simple fact he resisted the detainment was dumb. (Assuming that's real) the cops might have let him go even if he had contraband (Not sure if that's how it works in the UK but in the US if you're open and honest and don't give the police that hard of a time.........there is a chance you get off). At that point he ensured that he'd do some jail time and was screaming like a *****.
