I agree this has been a really bad year and isn't looking to get much better, but people have been saying boxing is dying forever. Currently people blame Haymon for overpaying fighters, however just a few years ago people were complaining how HBO was overpaying Berto. I will admit though, it seems to be the worst year since I started watching a decade ago.

Patience young grasshopper. Showtime is on track to have as many fights this fall/winter as they had last fall/winter. The Molina-D. Garcia & Cuellar-Mares card was leaked today. The Joshua fight is in November. GGG-Jacobs is happening either on HBO or Sho. If next week passes without any announcements that's when I'll get worried.

Hard to get excited about a sport that has one fight of any meaning on it schedule (Kovalev-Ward) and it costs $70 at that.

Still, before you write off boxing, let some fights materialize; Stevenson-Alvarez, Charlo-Williams, Danny Garcia's next fight, possibly Thurman's mandatory defense, Mikey Garcia's next fight, Andrade's fight in Germany, and a host of other fights need to find placement in the Fall/Winter.
You add the likelihood that Wilder is back by January, in addition to the fights coming from Mathroom Sport (Degale-Jack, Burns-Broner, etc), and the schedule will be fine.
September/October is basically the meat of the season, the schedule should be cleared up come late October/November, and the year closes out strong.

I mean, I cant even tell who you like in this sport. Besides your avatar of you wearing some overpriced Floyd gear, I cant even tell if you're a fan of the sport or not. It's people like you that are part of the problem. Rather than support your favorite fighter, rather than build something up, youd rather try to tear something down. Boxing is falling apart as it is already, we dont need people like you helping to tear it down further
