    I genuinely laughed

Bob has 7 months to persuade Manny that the USA is the best, even though Manny should give his people the last of his fights over the money he could make IMO. Bob is far too greedy to let that happen and unless he can get PPV or serious sponsorship money to make up any lack of PPV revenue, then he will be working Manny and so will Konz the conman to persuade him to fight in the USA.

I really hope Manny takes his people over money and gives them a few great memories, but I reckon he will fight in Las Vegas even if Bob has to take less of the slice. Arum always gets his way.

The PPV sales wouldn't even be close to what they normally would be. If he fought in the Philippines it might do 300k buys on HBO PPV. Like most stars in boxing, once they begin to make noise in America, they are never coming back.

Due to the time differential, that might be the case because Las Vegas is 16 hours behind Philippines. But then the country comes to a stand still whenever Pac fights (apparently) so they could hold the fight at around 2 or 3pm in the Philipinnes afternoon - around the same time that everyone there is used to watching Pacquiao fight live in Vegas.

So if that happens, there's no real reason why Pacquiao wouldn't sell around the same amount of PPV as usual, it doesn't really matter where he fights, people will be at home or in the bar watching it like they always do. As long as the opponent is decent the fight would still sell.

pacquiao would never fight in the philippines because he would make nowhere near the money he makes fighting in the united states...... in case you guys dont keep up with world news, close to half the country lives below the poverty line over there, who's going to afford the tickets???? who's going to buy a ppv over there??

point is, unless pacquiao is getting some huge money upfront ( im talking 20-30 mil) he aint fighting over there
Thrilla in Manila was held in the Philippines! It can happen! Average Filipino cant afford it. But The Rich there are really Rich! And half of the paying audience will be coming overseas!
