Who was more overmatched: David Diaz or Alfonso Gomez?

          yeah that was pretty sick, he had no respect for gomez fight game at all.

            Alfonso Gomez was more overmatched. He was brave and did his best but never came close to become a top 147, or even a top 15.

            David Diaz was the weakest title holder but a ranked figter(top 5). With that said, it's pretty safe to say that talent wise, he should have never been a top 10 at Lightweight. In the Ring Mag, he's not ranked anymore and was just because he did beat a over the hill Morales. Katsidis would have given a better fight to Pacquiao.

              Inactivity also has to do with his rank falling.
