  • Why is it that the most successful people in the world are good looking

Even in a sport as brutal as boxing- the best pound for pound guys are good looking or handsome.

    Wladimir Klitschko
    David Haye
    Mikkel Kessler
    Andre Ward
    Chad Dawson
    Canelo Alvarez
    Sergio Martinez
    Gannadi Golovkin
    Floyd Mayweather
    Danny Garcia

And these are just current boxers - we're not talking about DLH, RJJ or Ali

Any sport, any profession, the top of the top is almost always good looking. Even in a league like the NBA, where you can't find uglier guys.

You still have the MJ, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, etc. Sure you get a Larry Bird once in a while but the top of the top are good looking even in the most savage sports.

I think it's because good looking people have this confidence that they can do anything from the very beginning. They are often given more and better attention.

Golovkin? Nowhere near the most successful or good looking, on either front.

Lot of ugly successful people. Trump, gates,

Look at the starting QB's in the NFL. Get past the fact they are NFL QB's and they are a bunch of ugly mofos.

to answer the TS in regards to athletes:
the quality of the bones and muscles in the body show up in the face. we recognize athletic ability in part through the face. faces are what we look at all day, not unclothed bodies. they might not have beatiful features, per say, but they're well proportioned and well put together individuals.

this is well documented, for those who don't listen to new england's wisdom. if you like i can post a link. people have been asked to evaluate their perception of a person's strength based on seeing the face only. it's remarkably accurate. there are quite a few muscles in the face. broad and robust faces are generally on broad and robust bodies. sounds easy enough, right?

and finally, there's conditioning. gain 50 lbs and see what your face looks like. then get in dog shape. my money is on you looking a hell of a lot better with a lean body, and thus a lean face. your cheekbones pop, your jaw gets real definition, your skin is at it's healthiest.

Good looking people are generally healthier than ugly people, it's only natural that successful people tend to be better looking than poor people.
