No offense but that's sig worthy. Manny is coming off a fight that could have gone either way, against someone who always seems to trouble him, and what should have been a clear UD win over a Top 10 P4P and unbeaten fighter.

Manny is past his prime-still good, same as Floyd. It's still a huge fight, a career defining fight. Jesus, these guys would have you believe Manny is so far past it. If Manny was well past it or not a top fighter anymore, he wouldn't have beaten Bradley as relatively easy as he did.

Belts mean f^(k all in most cases. PBF doesn't need to unify a damn thing. He needs to fight Martinez. Canelo needs to fight better comp in his own damn 154 lbs division first and foremost.

People hate the ABC belts but always saying a fighter needs to get a belt or try to make up some BS unification fight. Why is that? Either the belts and the organization are sh!+ or they mean something. PICK ONE its not that hard.

Belts and titles mean alot when you look back on a fighters career........expecially if Canelo goes on to become great....

Floyd should fight Pacquiao ASAP. He should then try to fight Martinez after that, but if he doesn't, it's not a duck. Martinez is a full fledge MW, Floyd is already a smaller WW.

He shouldn't fight Alvarez until Alvarez beats Cotto.

I just can't see Floyd fighting at 160lbs... I always thought over time he'd eventually fill out a bit more, but he hasn't as much as I thought, he's bulked up a little bit, but at 160lbs, he's just not going to have the type of power to worry anybody... Martinez isn't going to be worried about anything Floyd would throw at him.

Floyd could DEFINITELY have the potential to outbox Martinez, but only if Martinez just stands in the middle of the ring and attempts to box... which he would be a ****** if he did.

Put it this way if a fighter goes on to be great titles are the last thing talked about. When they talk about Marquez vs Manny they don't mention what belt may have been on the line. They talk about the damn fights. When Hagler vs Hearns is talked about they don't talk about a belt they talk about the fight. So belts and titles don't actually mean a lot. It looks good but in the grand scheme of things belts are nothing but cheap trinkets and accessories.

so he should go back to ww,jump to mw,then go back to 154???all after the age of 36???do you live in reality??

dude will be 36 in a few months..he said he will retire by 37..that gives him 2 fights tops...its over for 147...he should be focused on 1 more fight at 154 then booom 160 title..then retirement

Manny is about the same fighter he was in 2010, same as Floyd. The only difference has been Manny's competition last two times. It was Marquez and Bradley, not the human punching bag Clottey and Margarito.

The only people who won't give him credit for beating Manny coming off what should have been a UD over a Top 10 P4P and unbeaten fighter are people who just downplaying it now to not give him any credit, or people that don't want Floyd to fight him. That's the hard truth. It's still the biggest fight. People act like beating Bradley 8-4 is a bad thing. They are still two of the top 3 fighters in the world.

Canelo was supposed to fight kirkland in dec.But kirkland being scared
                      once again.
