  • Floyd fan or not you should be able to quietly agree to this...

Floyd is great no doubt about it even the big time pac fans no he is an amazing fighter and poses a huge threat to their beloved Phillipino whatever they call him.

    But...

Hearns, Hagler, Benitez, Leonard, Duran...you can make a case that Super Floyd could beat anyone of them right? Of course you can....but the case you would have a tough time convincing anyone of even alot of big Floyd fans.... is this....he would not have fought any of them. True? This Floyd fans is where the problem lies with regards to ALL TIME GREAT STATUS.

    MORE REAL TIME...

Casamayor (defensive vs. defensive would have been much more interesting then the casual dumbass's would imagine-should have happened at 130-135), (NOTE-that I dont hate on Floyd so much for this fight because he did take on Chico and CAstillo probably the two best fighters IN THIER PRIME FLOYD EVER FOUGHT)

Tszyu (bigger, strgonger, faster and much more active then a prime Castillo who we all know gave Floyd hell-why was this one missed?),

Forrest (Mosely fought a guy that style wise he should have run from-would Floyd have EVER entertained taking this type of risk-doenst the risk make you great? Floyd would probably say the risk makes you stupid right?),

Cotto (timing, body punching, activity-lets just call him Baldmoir on steroids, Cotto would have given Floyd a tough time wouldnt he?),

Margarito (long before the Floyd mega paydays there sat Tony Margarito-like others in the sport Floyd turned his head)

Pacquiao (Fight fans are owed this fight-not in 2011, 2012 or 2013...now and if not now then like Hatton and Mosley Floyd will never recieve proper credit)

Throw all of these fighters together-lets say in a mythical world Floyd fought all of them twice each that includes the old timers of Benitez, Leonard, Hagler, Hearns and Duran.

Thats 22 fights....Floyd would rather fight none of them and maintain his perfect record then fight all 11 of them twice and go 21-1...

Can you make the case that Floyd can and would beat any of these guys-YES YOU CAN (**** I will make a valid case for Floyd beating anyone!)...can you make the case FLOYD would fight these guys...absolutely not.

All time great fighters are like business owners in 1 respect they both have got to have balls. Im not so sure Floyd could have ever owned his own business-he would have needed a guarantee on success before he ever invested a dime-right or wrong?

Right he would not have fought them too dangerous. But I don't believe he would have beat them either. You can't look at how good he did against Baldomir or a overweight featherweight and even compare him to those guys.

You have to consider the level of competition!
