  • Battle for Brooklyn: Quillin vs Jacobs or Stevens

Who should Quillin fight for his first title defense?

Both Jacobs and Stevens have fought for a MW title, but both lost by KO.

Both have decent hand speed too, Jacobs with the better movement, IMO.

Stevens can at least be used as another measuring stick between him and Golovkin.

Jacobs looked good in his last fight and knocked out Lorenzo, who's fought elite MW's and didn't get kO'd by either of them.

    I voted Stevens...

He is a good measuring stick to ggg

I would put Jacobs on the undercard the build a future fight

I believe Quillin will return in April, well, isn't that perfect to face Curtis 'Showtime' Stevens on Showtime? Lets #logit #boxing

Jacobs back in March.... now there's a decent chance of this happening.
IMO, it won't make sense if it's on Hopkins's card.... Two Brooklyn fighters in SA?

        Good point.

The Rosado fight already made Quillin look bad. Maybe a Stevens fight can up his stock. I would be rooting for Stevens to pull off the upset. It would be an awesome fight.

Would be a good measuring stick fight and the plus side is it's still a big fight for Brooklyn

Let me be clear though. The basis of him getting a Quillin fight is because he's a former GGG opponent, not because of his fight last night

And in my eyes Jacobs needs one more solid win to really look like a legit contender,, he needs to fight jermain Taylor, truex, Rubio, Andy lee etc

Stevens. He had a good showing against GGG and showed heart.

He just KO'd a hitta with his jab lol.

Quillin-Stevens would be one hell of a fight.

Sadly, that's Stevens only upside....measuring stick.
Jacobs had a decent win against a gate keeper. Guess Quillin has a fight to help Jacobs build himself more
