Because shes different? Everyone is the same these days that's probably why shes so successful. And she stands out in the crowd. Lady Gaga is extremely smart and knows what she's doing, why do you think Marilyn Manson was/is so successful!
Her dress sense maybe different but tbh i dont think her songs are much more than standard pop music, but i would be the first to admit that i am no music expert.
