Margarito is much less based on leg strength and forward momentum, and basically walks torward you until hes in range and starts bombing away. His strength, punch resistance, and ability to dominate at close range would really wear down Marquez. If Juan Diaz and Katsidis could put a hurting on Marquez and soak up a fair amount of his punishment, you better believe that Margarito could as well.
hes' too slow. Those other guys were snappy quick lightweights.

I say Margarito knocks him out...though the plaster has put his entire career in question. Look at how Margarito leveled Cintron...that Margarito, if he was clean, destroys Marquez...walks through his punches, walks him down, and good night.

and Margarito's punches would deal about twice as much damage as Diaz's, and his punch resistance is far superior.

sometimes youre right, the speed difference can make a huge difference and can win you a fight. Thats not the case here. Katsidis is no more skilled than Margarito, and Katsidis hit him plenty. In general, Marquez isnt exactly impossible to hit anyway. Its just that when you do hit him, he comes back with counter punches and combos, which makes opponents like Pacquiao more tentative. Someone with the size AND punch resistance of Margarito would laugh at the counter offense, and be happy to trade shots.
