So these girls go to a church and make a mockery of the church and now everybody is upset cause their name is pu$$y riot and apparently they protested against Putin. This is a joke right. Did you see them at the church, so we should let all the hooligans go to museums, churches and grave yards and just piss on all the morals the country holds. I am not pro-Putin at all but the attention these girls are getting is because they are singers (supposedly), they have a provocative name, they stand against Russia's Putin which the Western World loves. Yet what goes unmentioned is that they were involved in major hooliganism at a church.

Omg a few chicks went into a church and play anti-putin music for 1 minute, and they deserve 2 years in prison? They werent even arrested until a video leaked 2 weeks after the protest, so i guess it wasnt even serious enough to get arrested on the spot or have police called on them immediately, but put it on video and its 2 years.

And @ these russian "morals" you speak of.

lol. Im pretty sure that part has been mentioned in every news story about this case.
But i dont see what was so 'major' about what they did. They played ****ty music and disrupted a church service. And this was so terrible why?
The news media has made it into a big story and everyone has gulped it up. But the outrage at their sentence is valid considering what they where protesting against.
The focus is rightly being placed on how ****ed up human rights are in Russia.

Plus i had to laugh at the christians .....

Critics of the band have also been demonstrating, saying the stunt was an insult to the Russian Orthodox Church.
One, Igor Kim, told the BBC News website from Moscow: "Shouting and screaming and spreading hate in Church is unacceptable and is contrary with Christian ethics."

One protester outside court in Moscow simply shouted: "Let ***** Riot and all their supporters burn in hell."
lol. Yes...good old Christian ethics. Dont judge, forgiveness, love your neighbour, etc.
And didnt Jesus get in a wee bit of trouble for being ever so slightly outspoken??

                    ffs.

Its not. All they did was play a crappy song for 1 minute in a church and then got shown the door by security.

Political prisoners for hooliganism? That speaks for itself
