    Yes it was a tragic climax to a shortened career..

    Taking it as an 11th round TKO in Benns favour (without the injury) it would have all depended on how his confidence would have been affected by his 1st ever stoppage defeat.. The reason I say this, is because he was supremely confident before the fight & very despariging of Benn.
    If I remember rightly, he was only about 24 so if he took the positives and continued, he had enough armoury to be way up there.. Benn was never the same after that fight & due to age, would have been KO'd in a rematch..
    With regard to beating Hopkins, he'd have to box, & contrary to popular belief, he was a terrific rangey boxer when he wanted to be, & could have quite easily DC'd him.
    However, I think trying to bomb Hopkins would play into his hands, as he has terrific ability to sap any fighters power..
    As for beating Jones.. Back then, I doubt it.. Punchers chance only I think.. Cos no one knew Roy was a tadge chinny in those days.. If not Jones by DC or late stoppage..
