(You can vote for more than one option, all of them if you feel like the fighter's chin is underrated)
There are fighters that some people will say had weak chins, but upon closer inspection from non bias boxing fans you can see that their chins wasn't all that bad.
In no particular order
Tommy Hearns.
I don't know where the 'weak chin' 'glass' myth came from, but Hearns definitely had an under rated chin and could take a punch when needed. I won't say it's a very good or good chin, but it's definitely solid.
Lennox Lewis
Fought more big punchers than any other heavyweight in history other than Ali. Took massive shots from Briggs,Bruno,Morrison,Grant,Vitali,Mason,Ruddock,M ercer and never went down. Caught twice by hay makers from very heavyhanded heavys when he was under trained and un prepared.
Wladimir Klithscko
He have horrible stamina, balance issues Pre-Manny and had no idea how to recover when hurt. This let to him getting caught with a big punch, not knowing what to do and just keep getting caught again and again until he was done. It's not really a horrible chin so much as a horrible lack of balance and the inability to recover when hurt. Wlad panics when he gets hit, and just regresses into a shell until the tko.
If you watch the Sanders and Brewster fights, he was hit, he was hurt and just stood there taking punches and was flying all over the place. It wasn't as if a light hitter just dropped him.
Felix Trinidad.
Only ATG that was down more times was probably Wladimir, but he actually had amazing recovery powers and the only time he wasn't able to get up and finish off the opponent was against Hopkins (a true LHW)
Roy Jones Jr.
This one is tricky as hell, is his chin underrated and he's only getting knocked out due to age? Or was his chin always bad but his reflexes kept him from being exposed when he was younger? This is the trickiest one.
David Haye.
I really do feel Haye's chin is underrated, he took some big punches from Wlad and didn't even buckle. He also fought some heavy handed fighters and did pretty well.
Lucian Bute.
He was knocked out by Froch after taking non stop punishment for 3 straight rounds. If he had a glass chin, he would have been knocked out cold in the third already.
