This guy I used to work with, got let from our job.

I got kept on, he was a good worker and a nice guy who I got on well with,
We worked together most of the time and always had many laughs together to get eachother through the day.

We where good friends, I knew his family, he knew mine.

Anyway, A family member of mine was looking for some work done in his house,
I was too busy with work to get around to it. So I got in touch with my old workmate, who was short of cash (being he was out of work and all),
So I asked him would he be interested in doing it and he was happy to do so...

In the end, he made a mess of the job. When I rang him, he said "Oh man sorry, Tell you're uncle I'll ring him next week and sort something out..."
He never did and that was 3 months ago,
Soon as he got paid he didn't give a fuck.

All's I did was try and help the guy out cause I knew he needed some extra cash and then he goes and does this to a family member of mine?
