  • Why is Timothy Bradley rated #5 on ESPN's Pound for Pound list?

Dudes biggest win over a truly elite opponent was Pacquiao and that was a very bad decision. He beat an old Marquez and that is all of his top opponents, we know he'd get outpointed easily by Mayweather.

He doesn't even hold a title at the moment, there are fighters below him in the rankings who holds multiple titles.

Because he has one of the best résumés in the sport today -- easily HOF if he retired today and his only official loss is to an ATG .

Also Tim has displayed an extraordinarily diverse skill set over the course of his career, taking on a vast array of stylistic challenges and proving that he can deal with any of them competently

He is the antithesis of a one-dimensional fighter

How??? most of his best wins are 'questionable' and some wins over old fighters.

agreed. he has wins over miguel vazquez, witter, holt, undefeated peterson, undefeated alexander, provodnikov, marquez, etc.

only loss or losses is to a living legend ATG pacquiao.

and he was robbed of a win against chaves.

ESPN? Since when did anyone start caring about ESPN's rankings? They have zero power over professional boxing.

If hes number 5 rios should be number 6 only difference between him is that Marquez wasnt scared of him bradley and gave him the shot and marquez wont fight rios.

that "old" marquez KO'ed pac unconscious and as a result was ranked #3 p4p, #2 welterweight, Ring magazine fighter of the year 2012, and almost KO'ed alvarado out of the ring with ONE punch.

he might be 40 years old but he is far from being considered "old" thanks to angel heredia.

So you discredit his win over Marquez who beat pacquaio who beat him....indicates Marquez wasn't as old in the ring as you're suggesting

bradley's resume is far better than rios'. and as tough and strong as rios is he isn't anywhere near as skillful as bradley.

so no you can't have rios #6 p4p.
