Ahhhh, I forgot the 'Mickey's Monkey' scene in Mean Streets. That's as great as the 'Pledging My Love' scene'. I know Stones! digs the 'Please Mr. Postman' scene - that's killer, too.Comment

I don't actually like what he did with the production/arrangement for that score, but there's a clip of Daniel Lanois playing one of his pieces for Sling Blade straight-up on the pedal-steel in the DVD extras for that movie...and it is mindblowing.
He should've arranged the score natural like that...I really don't dig Lanois as a producer much.Comment
