There will definitely be better boxers than Floyd in the future. Willie Pep was better than floyd and faced better comp. Floyd is undoubtedly #1/2 of his era. There were better boxers in the past...There will be better ones in the future.

      • Why will he want to extend his contract other than for money? He sure isn't fighting the best opossition! Just retire already and for the sake of boxing, stay away from the sport!

These kind of sweeping generalisations are standard fare for the average floydgimp, but only serve to expose their complete lack of knowledge of the sport and respect for its participants.

It wont be us boxing fans that leave when floyd fooks off, as most of us were fans of the sport way before that ducking, moronic primadonna turned up. No, it'll be you and the rest of your disgusting kind that go....maybe not immediately, you might stick around in the vain hope that someone like Boner might actually do something. But you will go, simply because beyond floyd and his twitter page goofs, because you arent fans of the sport. You're like a bunch of giggly little 12 year old justin beiber fans, yet with the stench of racism thrown in.

          God speed frauds retirement!
Boxing will not survive with "fans" like you. Half empty arenas and most in the arena are comped, 50k paid ppv's, non stop ****sexual references, some clown fired from apple hooking up a massive illegal stream for a bunch of geeks in internet cafes; footwork, counterpunching and movement removed from the sport, fans that only watch fights from one promoter on one network; fans that hate fighters of color (except if they are fighting a black fighter); fans that don't know the proper way to score a fight; fans that think jabs don't count, fans that think setting traps and timing are lucky punches.

Before the internet, boxing fans used to hang out together and actually discuss the sport. Now with the internet we get lonely, bigoted, ****phobic casual fans like yourself who are more focused on insults, parsing videos, story maker and Photoshop.

Like I said the only good thing about Floyd retiring is that you and the other 25% of NSB like you will be gone.

This is the sad part and it will eat him alive for the rest of his life. As talented as he was he will be remembered more for not fighting Pac.

              • To be honest I'd be saddened when floyd does retire as well as manny. I have been so lucky to have witnessed such talents that were able to fight at such a high level for so long.

That's why I posed the question as "PRIME and ATG" and the only guy was JMM at a catchweight for Floyd. Beayting an atg who is not prime is not as impressive. That's 1 of the 47 opponents...weak for any ATG's standards.
you don't know why people buy his ppv's-all you do is speculate in a way that serves your agenda.

mayweather may end up with the best pvp buys. but if you graph it. pvp buys is proportional to either population or technology or year( because every year there is an improvement in technology and increase population thus the year 2000-2010 would do better than 1990-1999 and so on)

not an exact science. just saying.

Not that many are better. the only ones who think so are posters like you who are fans of a fighter that are not as good as Floyd. We also don't know if there will be another fighter who generated as much revenue.

If it was that easy, every fighter would do it.
