  • Is Western Boxing ****e?

Have a look at the top twenty of countries outside of Europe & the US & you'll see a much higher %age of Kayos.

This could be in part due to opposition but more could be down to attitude. In Europe & America a loss is devastating (even though most of us real fans don't care that much).

Boxing in other countries seems to be more about knockouts & knockout punches whereas in Europe & US it's about building a padded record.

Argentinian fighters have amazing Kayo records. This isn't down to the beef.

With the recession and hard times in the future you will see Western boxing coming back stronger as more Americans will see it as a way to earn some money. When times get tough you have to be tougher.........Rockin'

Padded records? That's exactly what the fighters you are talking about have. Prescott for example had an amazing KO% when he fought Khan, but he only got 2 in his last 8 fights and he looks like he has average power.
