  • If Calslappy was a middleweight he wouldn't have fought Hopkins or anyone else in the top 10. He would of eat up stiffs And fought Winky Wright at 168 when he was 45. The called himself the greatest.

You are right. Calzaghe is the GOAT. About time somebody has the courage to admit it.

Interesting the main defense against the suggestion Joe was better than Hop or RJJ is that he apparently slaps with his punches. If he did slap he must be pretty good at it because add up all the losses of a prime RJJ and the prime Hop then match those against Joe...

I guess the slapper was better than you give him credit for.

Slapping tomato cans in the minor leagues doesn't mean you can beat one of the big boys when they're in their primes

Typical propaganda to never give Joe Calzaghe the credit his deserves. Guys like you praise Floyd and his back peddling run whenever possible style and ignore the warrior Calzaghe who never ducked anyone, always fought the best and still retired undefeated.

Tomato cans huh. Funny you mention that metaphor since all of Hop's wins were against that quality until he fought Tito.

Funny, I don't recall B-Hop fighting a never ending stream of corpses and Eurofrauds like Calslaphe did. B-Hop was fighting in the Major Leagues while Calslaphe was hiding out in the minors.

                      Major leagues??? Wtf?

Yeah if you consider fighting a badly faded Simon brown and Rob Allen 301 times the major leagues. The only guy even near major league was Glen and at that point he was a journeyman. Look at the world champions Joe beat during his career until the Lacey fight. Hop doesn't compare.
