Not because I have something against nursing homes, but more because I know that they stress being social with the other old codgers and I really don't care for 'yahtzee.'

If you get into a decent one, it can be great. I volunteered at a very good one in HS
I would prefer an old age home however

Not that it's something I have to worry about yet, but I don't plan to stay in a nursing home.
Barring a world war, I plan to stockpile enough resources on top of formulating a retirement plan so I that I can sit pretty and enjoy life the way I want to without any distractions.
Maybe I could build a house in a wilderness somewhere. Maybe alaska, and sleep under the stars.Last edited by DARKSEID; 09-19-2013, 05:09 PM.

I would still go if I had a chronic ailment severe enough. I'd rather die in the sun than in a hospital bed.
And like I said, I would stockpile my resources, that means I could hire nurses. What nurse wouldn't want to spend some time in an elegant cottage in the alaskan wilderness.Last edited by DARKSEID; 09-19-2013, 05:14 PM.
