this is true. he also struggled against a past prime malignaggi, was embarrassed by slow plodding maidana, and looked mediocre against emmanuel taylor (the same guy that algieri completely outboxed).

i don't know why broner continues to get the hype that he gets. i think vargas vs broner would be an even matchup but i think vargas' boxing ability will help him get the UD win.

Broner has never outweighed anyone by that much on fight night. Why is this even a discussion. Vargas is horrendous. Broner is certainly better.

I hate to use triangle theories, but I think in this case their performances against DeMarco are a good gauge of levels.

Not to mention Broner was able to clearly beat a Taylor level fighter, where Vargas can't clearly beat anyone on that level. I don't think Vargas would even have beaten Paulie.
