Leonard is one of the most versatile fighters in the history of boxing. His ability to adapt with his natural athleticism and skill set is crazy. In fantasy matchups he should almost always get the nod. He's fought so many different styles and sizes.

You gotta respect how good Mayweather and Pacquiao are though. It's not like they've had a walk in the park or anything. You'd put Palomino, Williams, Margarito, Cotto, Forrest, and Mosley over Mayweather and Pacquiao???

May and Pac are already ATG's, and hopefully they will enhance their legacies down the stretch of their last couple years. Hopefully they fight each other, or at least the best opposition out there. So far, it looks like Mayweather may fight Martinez and Khan next year, which will ultimately enhance his legacy. Pac seems to be fighting Bradley next, which will actually be a really good on his resume.

            WHITAKER over Napoles
            MAYWEATHER over Benitez
            TRINIDAD over Willaims

Best 1st RD fight: De La Hoya-Cotto or Pacquiao-Forrest

            Quarterfinals:
            LEONARD over Duran
            DE LA HOYA over Hearns
            WHITAKER over Pacquiao
            MAYWEATHER over Trinidad

            Best Quarterfinal fight: Whitaker-Pacquiao

            Semi-Finals:
            LEONARD over De La Hoya
            MAYWEATHER over Whitaker

Best Semi-Fianl fight: Leonard-De La Hoya

            Finals:
            LEONARD over Mayweather

If the seeding were different, the outcome may be different in my mind as well. Styles make fights. Mayweather would have possibly the toughest road (Benitez, Trinidad, Whitaker), so he may not have made it. Being a Floyd fan, I see him winning those fights, but they could easily have gone the other way.
Completely plausible except I'd have Hearns over ODH.

No, but, I was under the impression this was a Welterweight Tournament and Floyd and Pac started at a lower weight then the rest of the boxers named.

Starling and Curry established a sucessfull Welterweight career, much more so then them 2.

Wait, this means you have Margarito beating Hearns in the first round of the tournament.

Can you explain that one please?

He thinks Margarito is a bad style match up for Hearns.

I'm not joking he actually does.
