red herring. The timeline shows quite clearly there was no time before becoming part of golden boy that floyd-margarito was being demanded. Arum never tried to make that fight until after the baldomir win. Margarito was so amazing to you guys but he never seemed to be bothered with fighting the best fighters at 147 from 2000-2006

they were the guys to beat! (if you are seeing a pattern it's because anyone floyd chooses to fight immediately becomes the guy to beat)

When has DLH EVER in his career had trouble with a guy with no defense? DLH would SLAUGHTER margarito with his left hook.

Oscar left welterweight around 2001 without looking it up. Magarito was a nobody. Again he never got in the mix of the guys at the top and the lineal title, if he was so good he should have fought mosley and forrest back then but he wasnt at that level then and you damn well know it.

There was no talk from Arum about Floyd-Margarito in 2005-2006, when Arum promoted them both. It wasnt until after floyd declined his offer and left to make more money that Arum started throwing out the crys of floyd ducking margarito when he really left to face a bigger, better fighter for more money.

Margaritos own mother would know she'd be lying if she rated margarito better than DLH.
So why did dlh pick Manny instead of fighting the tony-cotto winner?

Yea, you should just stick a dick and your mouth and shut up. Your looking really stupid here. Lineal or not, "belts don't matter"- Floyd stans.

            140. Hatton and Cotto both openly declined to fight floyd. Kostya never fought again after losing to hatton. There was nobody at 140. So floyd went up and claimed the lineal 147 which isnt much to you but a career welterweight margarito never did it but former super featherweight mayweather did.

Your memory of boxing before 2007 sucks.

Name one fighter willing to fight Tony in that time period.

Just one that he didn't fight.

DLH was semi retired and took an "easy" fight for money. DLH went 24 rounds with prime mosley. Margo lasted 9, with old man mosley. Completely different levels, not even close.

DLH in his prime had the balls to fight Hopkins and he was a former lightweight. Margo to this day never fought a middleweight and spent his entire career in classes where he held a weight advantage over the average size of guys in his class.

The best fighters have always cleared divisions and moved up.

They seem to be all making the mistake of thinking that WE THINK THAT Floyd couldn't possibly beat them.

He could beat them all, he just picked and chose (and well) with who he wanted when he wanted.

This isn't about Floyd being afraid.

It's about Floyd taking the least risk.

My memory is great. Floyd wanted no parts of Margarito. "Belts don't matter". Just depends on who has it.

                    • Margs and Pac. Pac has scared him the most because the public's demand for this is (or was) so great and there was no reason not to make it happen. It was a public focus and always brought up so the avoidance was even more apparent.

Margs gets brought up some after the fact - he was scared of both.
