Donaldo Morales shoots at a journalist with an air gun
Sep 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A 27 year old Honduran goalkeeper, Donaldo Morales got a shot at his critic – literally, when he shot the journalist with an air gun.
The goalkeeper, Donaldo Morales hit the reporter twice and another teammate, Jorge Claros once with his gun. Morales has apologized for his action but Carranza says he will not forgive him for the attack.
Carranza who works with the media outfit, Diez sports was interviewing Claros, who is a midfielder in Morales team after their training session at the Estadio Nacional in Tegucigalpa when the incident happened. Morales had accused the reporter of running series of criticism at him. Witnesses say that Morales approached the reporter during the after the training session and shot several times with the air gun, hitting him twice and the teammate once.
That is really a hard way to get back at your critic, but Morales should not expect to escape punishment.
Morales plays for the club, Motagua and the club’s President, Pedro Atala is considering a severe punishment for the goalkeeper for the incident. Morales has 31 caps for his country and has played 156 times for his club.
