The Lennox Lewis ball lickers are out in force now. They have nothing to combat what has been factually proven on this thread, on Lewis career. So they are now in "Play Ground mode" name calling, ridicule, slander, lies. It really is sad, that grown men have to lower themselves to such a level.... I have single-handedly blown to smithereens their agenda. But in all honesty, i need not have bothered. As it was hilarious the things they made claim about Lewis career.

At any rate RR's first coming out was a victory against Michael Dokes. who he knocked out cold per Wiki.
One thing I remember about both Tyson fights is how even the fight became, in the later rounds, when Ruddock came on. Tyson could knock him down but not out... and razor was able to fight Tyson inside, bullying him with his size (a chronic problem that would plague Tyson from time to time vis a vis Bonecrusher, etc). Tyson looked scared to me.
For those who think Razor was "damaged goods" its worth noting that post Tyson he beat Phil Jackson (NO!! not the coach of the Bulls!!!) and Gregg Page before running into a fellow Jamaican, Lennox Leeeeeewis. I would ask why it is necessarily so that tough fights destroy fighters? I don't buy it and certainly victories subsequent to Tyson suggest that the razor was still cutting! The man was a bruiser. I have had my ribs and jaw and hip busted open...It didn't make it so i did not heal. Ali had his jaw broken...**** happens and look at Marquez against Pac! Some fighters come back strong.
Anyhow, After lewis defeated Razor he was able to knock Morrison down (via Wiki) but was stopped on his feet in that fight. Morrison was a puncher and there is no shame in this type of conclusion to a Morrison fight...Razor was not KOed out cold, and again, even knocked the duke down.
To be fair to those detracters it has been said that Razor felt the Tyson fights took a lot out of him and Mike. But it has also been suggested that the loss to Lewis was "bitter fruit" and that Razor might have wanted to explain this loss and credit Tyson. Both of this information comes from anecdotal sources so who knows?
I will say this: As Juggy has said, and I would agree, Razor gets underrated on account of a few things: a) his one arm punching. Some felt that a thinking heavyweight would be able to avoid his punches because of this BUT quite a bit of Razor's effectiveness comes from working inside where he uses his uppercut and his weight very efficiently. B) His slow delivery. Again, from the outside this was a weakness but there was method to Razor's approach. instead of stalking to get inside, or jabbing he was quite adept at walking his man down and constantly applying pressure.
BTW Razor recently reentered the ring saying "what do I have to look foward to? waiting around to die?" Rumor has it a strict vegitarian diet (rice and peas?) and beer (kidding about the beer) prompted Razor to a victorious comeback...at least so far. his opponent was a spring chiken of 44 years old. So who knows? we may yet see Ruddock in the ring again! Lewis are you listening?

In 1980, 15-year-old Lennox Lewis lost to 17-year-old Razor Ruddock in a Middleweight contest.
Unfortunately I do not have all the details available at hand to contribute, and will not be able to another week.
From memory it was a selection contest to form an international team and Ruddock took victory 3-2.

I've learned that proving you wrong is a waste of time since you just ignore it and keep posting your propaganda.
Just admit that you obsessively hate Lennox Lewis and I'll never bother you again.

Sonny's wife was fat and on drugs when she Pole-Waxed Lennox and not at "The Top of her Game"

TE=Joeyzagz;16108667]I think Sonny's wife was Deep throated by Lennox in the early 90s and it left a sour taste in Sonny's mouth. He has the entire encounter on DVD as well as VHS.

I wouldn't put to much stock in the Jackson fight ,he barley thru any punches ,He basically just back pedaled waiting to get k.od .Razor looked good against a dud that night ,the thing with Lewis is his best punch was where Ruddock put his head defensively in that terrible lean back and crouch with his hands down ,unfortunatly for him Lewis at 6'5 also had a 83 inch reach ,and could land straight down on his head .That over hand right got full velocity on it ,and no way did going 19 rounds with Tyson help in anyway.
