Has anyone seen the show "Sleeper Cell"? It used to be on Showtime a few years back. The show was awesome, but got a little ridiculous toward the end.

Of course it was entrapment. It's difficult to get a conviction against someone planning to murder people in a terrorist action unless you can show they actually intended to go through with it. An actual attempt to actually detonate a bomb is proof that this person intended to commit mass murder.

If the target was white Christians instead of Muslims the FBI would have no problem setting guys up in just the same kind of way.

Seems the protocol is to just find some dumb ass with a lose screw, convince him to blow up a building and that they'll help him do so, give him some phony material and arrest him for terrorism charges. In other words, they create an allusion of a threat.
