    • It was nice knowing all the Pactar .... Ummm Pacquiao fans on the Scene.

The man you all know as The Pacman is no more.

It was a great run while it lasted and, yes Manny deserves his props for giving it his all for the fans. He made it exciting to watch.

Time to move on to retirement.

      Thank you for the memories.

        Who gets KO'ed first?

        • Thanks Mayweather for ducking and dodging (and bobbing and weaving) your most heralded opponent.

You hided under the guise of "take the test", ducking like the coward you are. When Manny agreed to take the test you said you wanted more money. When Manny agreed to a 55-45 split you wouldn't accept that. In other words:

No terms will make you step into the ring with Pacman.

Is Pacman over? No way. He got caught with a devastating right flush on the chin and got knocked out. He was ahead on the scorecards and scored a knockdown previously. It was the 1 punch that settled matters. If Sugar Ray Robinson was caught flush on the chin with a punch like that he would have went down. Manny Pacquiao fought a great fight last night, better than his previous fights, it was just a single devastating punch that settled matters.

We all know Floyd would commit suicide or some s**t if he got ko'd like that. He'd throw on his fake beard and catch the next random flight out Las Vegas like Floyd Patterson did after he lost to Sonny Liston, when he flew out to Madrid on the next available random flight outta the US. Patterson kept the beard on and walked with a limp (his legs were OK, he just made up the limp) around Madrid for a couple of days, ordered soup in a restaurant, Patterson said he didn't like soup but he still ordered it for some reason.

Instead Manny is in excellent spirits still and calling for number V.

We all know Floyd dodging Pacman is hurting Floyd's legacy big time.

They should have fought first in 2009. Heck, they should have had a trilogy by now.

Though that would have only happened if Pacman won the first fight, since Floyd would have definitely retired if he won.

              • You win some, you lose some, Manny is at a crossroads right now...he doesn't look like he has the same hunger and fire that made him dominate throughout the years.

He either focuses 100% on boxing again or become a full time politician in the Philippines and just retire, at his age, this double job **** isn't going to work against the likes of JMM.

Floyd gave in to all of Pacquiao's demands way back in 2009.

All he asked of Pacquiao was:

Random OST with USADA with a 14 day cutoff.

                  Pacquiao refused for years.

Pacquiao at one point made a youtube video saying that he would accept ALL of Floyd terms, then began backpedaling about what type of tests he would take, what agency would administer them, the cutoff period, etc.

                  Then talks fell through.

Then Arum put up his ridiculous countdown clock.

Then Manny came back stating that he would do all tests with no cutoff, but not with USADA.

Then Manny said he would take a paycut and fight anywhere, anytime.

The problem with anywhere was that Las Vegas was out of the question.

The problem with anytime was May 5th became out of the question because Manny got a mystery cut in November that wouldn't heal by May 5th.

Then Manny made the issue about money. Despite claiming that he would take the paycut, Manny demanded 50/50 despite coming off of a loss and having subpar numbers.

Floyd offered Manny $40 million guaranteed, to which Manny refused saying he deserves more despite never having pocketed even close to half that amount in his entire career.

So when you say that Floyd "ducked" Manny, I guess something gets lost in translation, because in "ducked in" tagalog obviously means "Floyd won't pay Manny more than what he's worth" .. because that's what it amounts to.

Pacquiao isn't even a factor now. So now we just have to wait for pacterds on this site to die off slowly from starvation because there's no longer any peasant hype to nourish their stupidity.

                  Stay thirsty, my friend.

                  • "Pacquiao isn't even a factor now."

How is this? Didn't he now look better tonight than his last couple of fights? Yes. It was just a devastating punch that settled matters.

I bet if you were around in the Sugar Ray Robinson era you'd think Ray "wouldn't be a factor" after his loss to Jake LaMotta.

Pacman lost 1 fight in a quarilogy, one fight out of 4. (other 3 disputable by some.) Going back to the old days losing one fight out of 4 wouldn't mean you were out of the equation. As I said, he looked better than he did in his previous fights before the KO, it was just a single great punch that got the win for Marquez.

                    • Not sure whether last night's fight made it less likely or more likely that Floyd calls out Pac.

Now that the stakes are no longer as high maybe we'll see it happen.
