I barely use my phone or facebook for other than short exchanges, I like personal contact. Also if they could read my browser history all they would find are my porn searches, gaming searches and sports searches. Hardly enough to learn me and read my patterns.

For a lot of shallow people it might work though, but then again, why would the government spend time learning the sheep, when all they have to do is lower the price on the new Iphone to keep them pre-occupied.

The American government are trying to get there. Google (a CIA funded company) has been researching ways on predicting a persons future actions based on their Internet behaviour. If you develop glasses that allow you intimate access to imagery, audio and gps etc, you are getting to the point where the goverment will know everything about your behaviour.

Of course, google apologists will say that they don't do any evil of course!

Basically, the mind reading is done through social media and smart phones which basically become an extension of yourself. Thoughts, actions, feelings its all there

What do you guys think? Humor me.
I wouldn't worry about such things. I'd rather worry about Big Govt in general and how to downsize it... via no taxes, no welfare programs, abolishing of a lot of departments etc,. And unleashing laissez faire, Free Market Capitalism.

I agree. But I don't think enough people are aware of big government and the impact it has on us.

Reading your mind is not the same thing as inferring what you are going to do based on what messages appear on your smartphone and social media accounts. I could very easily portray myself as one kind of person online and be completely different in reality.
