Here is a more recent one...

    this is from pg 5

Blood is rarely collected in the major United States sports drug testing programs. At the Olympics, blood
is collected, but not as often as urine. For example, at the 2004 Athens Olympics, the laboratory receive
2926 urine samples and 691 blood samples [5]. Some federations, such as Union Cycliste Internationale
collect blood before races for health tests (not doping-control tests), and athletes with atypical values
deemed medically unsafe (eg, high hematocrit) are not allowed to compete [6].

Testing urine is better than testing blood for most prohibited substances (small molecules, molecular
weight less than ~800 atomic mass units). Urine collection is noninvasive and yields a large volume of
sample, with higher drug concentrations than in blood and with far fewer cells and proteins to complicate
    extraction.

If you guys have it you should read that whole thing. Is Actually quite interesting. But, I doubt you guys care. All you guys are only worried about flame wars...

        MaxBoxing (Dec 25, 2009)

Accoring to Victor Conte,"Traditional testing in boxing, it's basically worthless other than the detection of some types of stimulant, before and after a fight."

"In my opinion, blood testing for the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight is more important for detecting possible blood doping or use of EPO than it is for human growth hormone."

"Creams, transdurmals, clear the fastest. Orals, would be next. Water-based drugs- including testosterone- would be next, then the oil-based. So some of these can clear in a matter of hours and days," explained Conte."So if you know when you're going to be tested a week out, you go off the use of oral testosterone, for example, you're going to test negative. So that is really an issue."
        That's the keyword !!

And I highly doubt PAC's on EPO, unless he has been on 'em since he was 16, lmao.

All yu guys are doing is proving why Pac should just take the tests..since he isnt on any of this stuff and it doesnt have an effect on athletes.

Great should be no problems taking the test.

Then come up with something better, go find an article to counter what Dr. Caitlin stated from his own experience of testing Olympic athletes, I'm sure the Dr would be happy with new info to help him in his field, lmao

Well you can look at it that way... It all depends what side you are on... Everybody should look at both sides at the argument. And, both point of views. Is not just black and white. There is shades of gray.

Do you even know the current info on all this USADA/GBP testing crap. USADA generally does not even do blood tests on the athletes inside the 30 days prior to the date of the competition !

So basically GBP/Mo**ey Mayweather made up their own testing requirements(they wanted to go beyond what USADA does for testing). And there's also alot of info out there urine vs blood testing for PED's. There's nothing out there that can be considered as fact that blood testing for PED's is better than a urinalysis !!
If the USADA doesn't test within 30 days of the event what was the problem with them in the first place? I thought the only problem was getting tested within 5 days or so of the fight. I don't care who budges on their demands I just want to see the fight.

Wow...I had no idea a urine test was far more sufficient than a blood test.

I think both camps should hire a Anti-Doping specialist to help make the arrangements of the negotiation.

Somehow I think the Mayweather camp still want's to go with the blood test as a way to keep the bad hype on Pac, and possibly as an excuse to back out of the fight.

The link I posted is a more recent one and states the same thing. And, the interesting point if you notice the opinions didn't change throughout the years. And, this are experts they do the testing.
