Encore and Relapse were really forgettable.

He had a few bangers with D12

Recovery and Bad Meets Evil gave me some that old "Eminem magic" back.

To be quite fair, while he isn't the most consistant rapper even his weak tracks make most rappers look like bloody amateurs. Eminem at his best is 2nd to none when it comes to lyrical brilliance, controversy & humour. Not the greatest story-teller though, that will forever be Pac who holds that title together with impact.

He really does shine as a Battle MC though, it's in his blood to be provokative.

Listen to that absolute trash em has done huge amounts of damage to the game he lowered the standards of what's acceptable with Hus bull**** music. He killed rap but he has too much power in the industry for many to speak out.

He's a lyrical genius. Definitely one of the greatest of all time. Color has nothing to do with it. I hear people say he only blew up because he's white. He is well known because he's just sick. Took it to a new level IMO.

I'm glad he seems to have gotten his shit together too so he can keep putting out new material.

He's easily top 5 all time IMO. He can rap about anything, and even after all these years he still sounds as hungry as he did in 97'. Its a shame most of his peers haven't aged as well.
