This movie looks very promising and there's early Oscar buzz about Depp's performance. A lot of his doubters are going to look foolish if he nabs a nomination.


Sicario looks great as well.

Movie overall was solid, not great like say The Departed. But was very solid. Depp's best first real good performance since Public Enemies, and probably his best overall performance since Pirates 1 and Blow. Even through the slower parts of the movie, Depp always had me engaged. Would not be surprised if he snagged and Oscar nomination.

Saw the trailer. Yea it makes it more Intriguing because Whitey is real but they make it look to sensational. I mean whats with the hip hop music!? Prob will be amazing but I feel like I am watching the trailer for the great gatsby with kanye west soundtrack.
