  • Did Floyd and Manny get what they both wanted?

At the end of the day, do you guys think, Floyd and Manny are both kinda relieved that people aren't clamoring for this fight like they used to. Lets say they end up never fighting one another. You think their just happy, their both set for life, financially, and neither guy had to go through the mental stress of losing to one another.

Floyd got what he wanted - one of the highest paid athletes in the world while not having to fight actual threats.

Manny got what he wanted - afraid to take superior drug tests and his promoter swung things his way in regards to who was ducking, and the entire world (aside from boxing fans) think Floyd is the one ducking.

Are they comfortable with the fact that they'll probably never fight each other? Yeah I think so. They both made a lot of money while being in the driver's seat and they didn't have to bow to the other guy's demands.

This is somewhat true BUT Floyd and Manny have both fought actual threats. They would not be where they are if they hadn't.

When it comes down to it, that is exactly right about both fighters.

yep definitely the only people who lost here are the fans. Boxing doesn't give a **** about the fans though, only the fans money.
