So I just got into a mini debate with an especially self serving friend of mine.

Basically, its doomsday and its a mad dash to life pods, or an Airplane is about to crash and it only has two parachutes left and their are children on board.

I told him that he was lying to himself if he wouldn't throw every woman and kid out of the way to get to that parachute. Humans don't reside themselves to death if there is a chance at survival.

What gives a woman or a child more right to life than me? Just because one being is really young, and the other one has a vagina?
